Visual identy for a mechatronic and electrical engineering developer & producer
ELVEZD is a family business founded in 1992, specializing in supplying electrical installations for civil, industrial, and manufacturing construction projects.
Since 2015, the company has expanded its portfolio to include computer-aided engineering services, as well as the design and manufacturing of mechatronic devices and equipment featuring electric and electro-hydraulic systems.
My first task was to redesign the company’s old logo, which had become outdated due to the expansion of ELVEZD’s service offerings.

Logo Design
ELVEZD wanted to redesign their logo, as it no longer reflected their needs after the company expanded its range of services. During my research into ELVEZD’s portfolio, I identified the core aspects of their services and categorized them into three groups: Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Hydraulics.
Based on this, I selected symbols to represent each field: a cogwheel for Mechanical Engineering, the symbol for electrical resistance for Electrical Engineering, and a bi-directional hydraulic motor symbol for Hydraulics. These three elements were then merged into a unique, and memorable logo mark.

Branding
The foundation of ELVEZD’s branding was shaped by an analysis of the target audience — primarily engineers and managers who review ELVEZD’s technical documentation before making decisions. Many of these documents are blueprints for various projects. My approach was to incorporate elements from blueprint template design and adapt them appropriately across different formats. This resulted in a highly technical and precise visual identity for the company.
