Freshgastro

Freshgastro is a brand of local, home-made syrups, jams, tapenades, and ketchup. My task was to redesign the old labels for the syrup bottles & jam jars in line with the new EU regulations.

Because of the amount of the required product information, I've found the best solution for the syrup labels (250 ml, 500 ml, and 1 L) was to split them into two parts:

  • the front label with the basic branding and product names
  • the back label with all the consumer information in a simple, clean and readable format.

    Another important goal of the redesign was to distinguish the brand from other similar products. I've decided to take advantage of the 19 different flavors produced by the company and to create a color palette with colors based on these flavors, that would be prominently displayed on each label. This resulted in smooth color transitions, creating a rainbow-like effect which was immediately recognizable on the store shelves.

    JAM JAR LABELS

    190 g, 1 kg, 3 kg

    When designing the jam jar labels (190 g, 1 kg, and 3 kg), I took advantage of the increased width of the packaging and placed all of the content on one label. The second part of the label was then used to conceal the lid of the 190 g jar, which helped to better distinguish the packaging from other brands.
